About me
The first part of my career I spent in private practice at Linklaters and Argo Law, advising companies, investors and private equity funds on significant domestic and cross-border transactions.
Drawn by the desire to move from advising on decisions to helping shape them, I left my partner position at Argo Law to join LIFE, an international real estate development group. As Chief Legal Officer, I became part of the executive decision-making process, leading transactions, structuring investments and joint ventures, overseeing governance and supporting the business across multiple jurisdictions.
The combination of these two environments shapes how I work.
I bring the technical rigour of top-tier private practice, combined with the perspective of someone who has sat at the executive table and understands how legal decisions play out in the business.
Today, I support businesses in two ways:

as M&A and Corporate Counsel - drawing on my extensive transactional experience (in industrial, private equity and real estate context.

as Fractional General Counsel - providing access to senior legal leadership on a fractional but continuous basis.
Throughout each engagement, my focus is to help decision-makers navigate important matters with clarity and sound judgment.
M&A and Corporate Counsel
Acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, exits and other significant corporate matters place exceptional demands on leadership teams and internal resources, often under time pressure and with substantial commercial implications.
I support privately held and investor-backed businesses, their shareholders and leadership teams in these situations as independent senior counsel, with experience spanning industrial businesses, private equity and real estate.
Depending on the needs, I advise directly and remain closely involved throughout the process, from initial structuring and negotiations through to execution and completion. My role combines strategic judgement with hands-on execution, allowing businesses to rely on a single senior legal adviser throughout the process.
I can also act as an extension of the legal or leadership team: helping shape transaction strategy, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, managing specialist (cross border) advisers and bringing experienced judgement to key decisions throughout the process.
Fractional General Counsel
As businesses grow, legal matters increasingly require continuity, context and experienced judgement.
I provide ongoing legal support across the full spectrum of business legal needs, from commercial contracts and governance to strategic projects, disputes and transactions.
Where specialist expertise is required, I help identify, instruct and coordinate the right advisers, ensuring that businesses receive the appropriate support while maintaining a clear overview of the broader picture.
Unlike external legal advice delivered on a matter-by-matter basis, a Fractional General Counsel develops a deeper understanding of the business and provides ongoing support over time.
For many businesses, legal matters have become too important to be managed solely through ad hoc external advice, yet do not justify the need for a full-time General Counsel.
A Fractional General Counsel bridges that gap by providing access to senior legal leadership on a flexible basis and becoming a trusted adviser familiar with the business, its priorities and its people.
